This property was designed for the beginning of the 20th century, by Refugio Reyes Rivas - a self-taught Zacatecan architect who created the majority of the city's architectural heritage, towards the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The house was built for Don Ancelmo López.

For some years now, it has been the headquarters of the restaurant “La Saturnina. “The flavor of my town”. One of the greatest delights of our city, where you can try the famous Aguascalientes Chile, peasant cream, hydro-warm enchiladas, pozole, pacholas, and much more.

Its breakfast buffet service is available from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and the lunch buffet from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., from Monday to Sunday.

In addition, get to know their film and theater seasons, where you will enjoy the best staging of hydro-warm talent.

The restaurant La Saturnina is a tribute to the hydrocalid master muralist Saturnino Herrán, “Precursor of Mexican muralism”, known as "Of the Painters the most Mexican and of the Mexicans the most painter" and one of the ten heritage artists, that is, artists considered Historical and Artistic Monument: on December 8, 1988 he was added to that list by presidential decree.
